We are proud to announce that Akhandjyoti Foundation has partnered with AMHSSC and Indian Oil Corporation Limited to provide employment training to 350 rural women in the apparel sector. The training, focusing on sampling tailoring, will equip these women with the skills needed for employment and empowerment.

The program was inaugurated by Kamlesh Rai, General Manager, Human Resources, IOCL Bihar State Office, in Piprakothi in presence of Saikat Mukherjee, Chairman of Akhandjyoti Foundation, Rakesh Roshan Chief Manager of CSR at IOCL, Divisional Officer Manish Mishra, Director-Operations of AMHSSC Ashish Srivastava. This initiative, aligned with the mission of ‘Saksham Nari, Sashakt Nari,’ is set to make a significant impact on the lives of these women, providing them with new opportunities and a brighter future.

The dedicated team worked together to remove waste and debris, ensuring the beach remains clean and safe for visitors and the environment. Akhandjyoti Foundation are excited to announce the completion of our Digital Champions Program internship. 16 talented interns have successfully contributed to empowering their peers against cyber fraud and promoting social media well-being. Akhandjyoti Foundation is informs tremendous success of our recent awareness workshop on Cervical Cancer at Om Foundation's school in Noida! 

Dr. Ekta Gupta from the National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR) led an engaging and informative session, shedding light on the critical importance of cancer prevention, particularly cervical and breast cancer. The session was not only educational but also empowering, equipping young girls with the knowledge they need to prioritize their health and well-being. Together, we are creating a future where girls are empowered with knowledge to make informed health decisions.

The Akhandjyoti Foundation, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), successfully conducted an Oral Cancer Awareness Program at Composite Junior High School, Morna. The program aimed to educate students about the severe risks associated with tobacco consumption, including smoking and chewing tobacco, which are leading causes of oral cancer. Highlighting the importance of maintaining a tobacco-free educational environment, the initiative emphasized that strict no-tobacco policies in schools can significantly reduce exposure to harmful substances, encourage healthier lifestyles, and foster a supportive atmosphere for learning and growth. Through informative sessions and interactive activities, the program empowered students to make informed health choices and contribute to a healthier society.

We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of our 1st Cervical Cancer Awareness and Vaccination Program at Girls Inter College Noida, in association with Rotary Club Noida. With enthusiastic participation from approximately 150 students, we conducted an impactful awareness session, and over 70 students received their vaccinations. This initiative was made possible through the incredible support of Rotary Club Noida, Oyster Lifestyle, the National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, the Health Department of Gautam Buddha Nagar, the District Administration of Gautam Buddha Nagar, the District Education Department, and the management of Shyam Singh Inter College Noida. Together, we are taking a significant step towards a healthier future for our young women!

In an effort to support students during high-stress exam periods, Akhandjyoti Foundation organized a series of workshops on Mental Health for Class X and XII students across two government schools and one affordable local private school. The primary aim of these workshops was to provide students with essential tools and coping mechanisms to effectively manage their mental health during exams. The initiative successfully reached 172 students, empowering them with strategies to navigate the challenges of examination stress and promoting mental well- being within the educational community.

The Akhandjyoti Foundation, in collaboration with esteemed corporate NTPC, dedicated to impact on society through transformative school development projects. These initiatives include the construction of a state-of-the-art STEM lab in Jaipur to enhance scientific and technological education. By empowering individuals with quality education and resources and fostering community development, we aim to pave the way for a brighter future. Our collective efforts and strategic partnerships are focused on creating lasting change for generations to come, demonstrating the immense potential for positive societal transformation through collaborative initiatives.

The Akhandjyoti Foundation has partnered with the British Council Noida to facilitate this drive, which is a testament to the power of community collaboration. This initiative aims to gather essential items such as clothes, books, toys, warm clothes, and stationery to support underprivileged children during the winter season. Our goal is to ensure that children in need have access to necessary resources to stay warm, educated, and happy during the colder months. 

More than 200 employees of the British Council Noida are contributed generously, with the HR Head leading by example and donating clothes along with their team. This initiative not only aims to provide immediate relief to children in need but also to foster a sense of solidarity and community spirit among participants. By contributing to this drive, we are collectively working towards a warmer, brighter future for these young individuals.

We Akhandjyoti Foundation is delighted to announce a special event dedicated to celebrating the sports activities of specially-abled school children in the Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida) District. This initiative, organized in collaboration with both government and private schools, aims to create a memorable and encouraging experience for these remarkable individuals.Our goal is to provide an inclusive environment where specially-abled children can showcase their talents, determination, and athletic skills. The event will feature a variety of sports activities tailored to accommodate different abilities, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate and shine.

By bringing together children from various schools, we aim to promote a sense of community and mutual support among participants. This event is not just about competition; it’s about celebrating the unique abilities and achievements of each child, and providing them with a platform to inspire others.

 

Akhandjyoti Foundation, in collaboration with IRCON International, has successfully launched digital classes on computers for students in classes 10th to 12th. This initiative ensures that the advanced classes these students typically attend after completing their intermediate studies are now conveniently available within their schools at no additional cost.

This program is a significant step towards democratizing education, making high-quality learning resources accessible to students who might otherwise lack the means to pursue advanced studies. The use of interactive digital tools enhances the learning experience, making complex concepts easier to understand and engage with. By integrating digital technology into the curriculum, we aim to bridge the educational gap and provide students with the skills and knowledge required for their academic and professional futures.

A subsequent dental health camp, by Akhandjyoti Foundation with Rotary Club meticulously organized, left a lasting impact on over 180 students, addressing their oral health needs with precision and care. The success of this initiative prompted strategic discussions, paving the way for future camps aimed at extending the reach of dental care within the community. Engaging with parents will be a pivotal role in creating awareness, fostering a collaborative approach to prioritize oral health within the community, setting the stage for the success of subsequent camps

The Akhandjyoti Foundation collaborated with President Ashutosh Singhal, his wife Seema Singhal, Vice President Naveen Aggarwal from the Rotary Club Noida, and other influential figures like Mr. Ashol Manchanda, Dr. Atul Parashar, Chairman Saikat Mukherjee, and Director Mousumi Mukherjee in a commendable partnership aimed at community well-being. This collaboration culminated in a meticulously organized dental camp held at Morna Government School

This collaborative initiative, comprising the dental camp organized by the Akhandjyoti Foundation in partnership with the Rotary Club Noida and other influential figures, made a significant impact on 400 students. Through the dental camp held at Morna Government School, these 400 students benefited from dental healthcare services, highlighting the tangible and substantial effect of this collective effort on the well-being and oral health of the local community's students

Akhandjyoti Foundation, in collaboration with Noida Police has successfully organized an enlightening session at Krishna Public School, Morna, Sector 35, Noida. This special initiative, Mission Shakti seeks to empower girl students by providing them with essential tools such as a cybercrime helpdesk number and information about schemes By joining forces, Akhandjyoti and Noida Police are dedicated to creating a society that is not only more equal and inclusive but also actively supports the potential of women. Together, we strive for progress and development, fostering a safer and brighter future for all.

This marks our initial stride towards establishing a robust #learningpath for underprivileged students, with the sincere aim of illuminating their futures. In a collaborative effort led by Akhandjyoti Foundation and executed in partnership with Give me Trees Foundation, a targeted session was meticulously organized at Government School Morna, Sector 35, Noida. The primary objective of this session was to facilitate a profound connection with among the student body. The initiative unfolded through a series of carefully curated activities and discussions designed to underscore the paramount importance of understanding ecosystems, appreciating the intrinsic value of trees, plants, and biodiversity, and instilling a heightened sense of environmental stewardship.

This initiative aimed not only to enhance the students' knowledge but also to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards. the environment. By fostering environmental consciousness, the session encouraged students to embrace the role of responsible stewards of the environment. It inspired them to actively engage in conservation efforts and encouraged the adoption of sustainable practices in their daily lives.

Akhandjyoti Foundation organized an art workshop on World Senior Citizen's Day, which took place on August 21st at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art had a meaningful impact by directly involving and benefiting 45 senior citizens.

On August 15th 2023. Akhandiyoti Foundation celebrated Independence Day with the students of Krishna Public School in Morna village, Noida. As part of the festivities, we organized a drawing competition, and prizes were distributed to all participants. We also recognized the five winners for their outstanding artwork.

Akhandjyoti Foundation, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), organized a Bhimal art workshop in Pauri District, Uttarakhand.

Akhandjyoti Foundation collaborates with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art to organize an art workshop in Noida for school students. The theme of the workshop, 'Sitaare Zameen Par,' captures the essence of the period.

In 2022, The Akhandjyoti Foundation introduced "Mission Shakti" in association with AMHSSC (Apparel, Made-up & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council) and Leisure & Lifestyle Global Services Pvt Ltd. a targeted initiative designed to nurture skill development and empower women through an entrepreneurship program. This mission was tailored to equip women with essential resources, tools, and training, enriching their skill sets and fostering entrepreneurial capabilities. The project has reached a significant milestone by directly impacting the lives of over 900 women referred from 280+ Self-Help Groups (SHGs) through its educational and empowerment initiatives.

Through comprehensive guidance, mentorship, and practical knowledge sharing, "Mission Shakti" aimed to enable women to establish and manage their own businesses or Self-Help Groups (SHGs). A core objective of this initiative was to promote economic independence and self- sustainability among the participating women. To achieve this, the program focused on establishing market linkages leveraging its well-established network.
